Dogs truly are remarkable creatures, known for their unwavering loyalty and friendly nature. They possess an innate ability to connect with people, even those who might initially be hesitant or fearful. Offering a simple treat or two is often all it takes to win their hearts.

However, the foundation of a dog’s affection toward a human is built on trust, much like the bond you develop with your neighbor’s dog when you cross paths regularly, stopping to offer a friendly pat on the head.

One such friendly dog in our neighborhood is Lily. Her owner, Ishaan Chatterjee, lovingly considers her his best friend, but he’s well aware that Lily has a wide circle of best friends too. It’s hard to ignore her exuberant greetings to nearly everyone who passes by. With Lily’s warm and open attitude, it’s nearly impossible not to become fast friends with anyone who stops to say hello.
